    Some of the older carburetors on the Onan KY units do not have the electric solenoid on the bottom of the carburetor, like the new A042P619.

    Your old carburetor may have the 146-0534 part number stamped on it, but the A042P619 is the carburetor you will need to use and it will not work unless you energize the electric solenoid. You can use the same wires going to the fuel pump and conect them to the solenoid to energize it. Just ground the black wire and connect the red wire from the solenoid on the new carb to the B+ wire that is supplying power to the fuel pump.
