Regulator for my Onan RV

Hi, I just purchased a regulator for my Onan RV generator from ASAP and I wanted to thank you for including the pre-install tips with the part. I checked the resistance on the brush circuit and found it to be 65 ohms.
Cleaning did the trick and probably saved a premature failure! Last Onan regulator only lasted about 90 hrs. Thanks again!
