This is a new 24VDC governor control capable of running actuators on a constant speed engine or generator set.

Compatible with GAC, Woodward and Barber Colman actuators mounted on top of Stanadyne DB series injection pumps, as well as linear actuators

NOTE: This GAC model ESD2244-24 does not have idle function. *It will not work if the frequency of the mag pickup exceeds 7500 Hz, but that is very rare.

ESD2244 SERIES (CE)- ANALOG GOVERNORS

The ESD2244 Series speed control unit is an all - electronic device designed to control engine speed with fast and precise response to transient load changes. This closed loop control, when connected to a proportional electric actuator and supplied with a magnetic speed sensor signal, will control a wide variety of engines in an isochronous or droop mode. It is designed for high reliability and it's hard potted to withstand the engine environment.
