Application:
Replaces starter on 1979 & newer Onan JB, JC, RDJC, DJC, & RDJF Engines with "Mitsubishi-style" Starter.  Note: this one is a new, aftermarket that replaces the Mitsubishi one. There are a couple different brands of aftermarket ones, so depending what we have available at the time of order, may vary slightly in color, but is still is gear-reduction/basically the same thing  

Notice:   Units built prior to June 1982, also order 191-1400 mounting bracket (flange).  Air cooled models built prior to 1990 will require an additional air cooling baffle, Onan part # 134-4154 to be ordered.  NOTE: MDJE models prior to rev "AC" may need to also replace or modify older water pump mounting bracket 131-0199 with new 131-0362 bracket due to mounting holes on the new 191-1400 bracket/flange.
