The Generac 071938 / G071938 replaces Quicksilver # 811098.  It is a 12VDC battery charging voltage regulator is plated with chromate to help prevent corrosion - especially needed if you use near salt water or corrosive environment.  The 71938A (071938A) is the same, but no chromate protection.
