If powering the controller and RA400 from the same battery for runs longer than 100 ft, use a AC-DC power supply.  See our ACC0120.

Or you can use an isolated DC-DC power supply to power the RA400.  This prevents "ground loops."  Coming soon.  Ask about ordering this for you.
