Replaces most Generac PTO regulators with better performance than the original! Flight Systems Model 808

Output to exciter field is 7.5 amps DC max. If heat sink has adequate cooling, you may be able to use on applications up to 10 amps.  Preferable location is in the path of the fresh air intake (at the rear of most generators) - especially if you will exceed 7.5 amps.

Can replace a Basler SR8-A (SR8A) if you do not need all of the fancy extras like 3 phase sensing, paralleling provisions, or 400 Hz operation.
Will also replace a Basler KR7F and Basler
APR125-5 series in many cases.
Also replaces Delco 3H18000 series AVR's such as 3H18020A.

Replaces the following obsolete Generac voltage regulators with minor modifications, please contact us with any questions.

  • 47509 (047509)
  • 50363 (050363)
  • 50074 (050074)
  • 0500740SRV

This full wave voltage regulator has a 25 amp, 1200 volt (PIV) power module mounted on a heat sink, de-rated to 7 amps for long life. Requires input of 180-277 VAC for power & sensing.

Can be used on a 480 volt 12 lead generator if machine is wired in center of the WYE at T7, T8, and T9, etc. You can power off any two of those lines if there is approx 220 - 250 volts available there. (You cannot sense direct 480 volt power, but you can use a transformer from 480 > 240 if you wish)

All sales final.
